Lucia’s Baked Delights is in Oakley, CA. We do not have a storefront open to the public and operate solely as a home -based business. Our baked goods are made in a home kitchen. We are Insured under FLIP-Food Liability Insurance Program. We follow all guidelines required by law and all permits, licenses and certificates are issued by the City of Oakley and Contra Costa County.
How much time do you need to place an order?
We normally start to prepare at least three (3) days in advance for personal and small orders. Medium and large orders are started five(5) days in advance. We ask that you provide us with ample time when considering submitting an order. To accommodate a new order, we must consider the number of orders pending for the day, week or month.
Can I place an order & pick up the same day?
NO, we do not accept orders submitted for same day pickup.
Do you ship orders ?
NO, we do not ship or mail orders.
How do I place a order?
Lucia's Baked Delights is a home-based bakery. We have provided multiple options to place an order. You may place an order over the phone at 1-925-390-8050 , online cart or place an order in person. Please feel free to Chat with us if you have any question before placing an order.

it has left our premises and/or completed a Delivery.
*We advise that baked goods not be refrigerated before a party or even. Baked goods should be placed in a cool area away from sunlight and heat to avoid melting or moisture buildup which can add a risk of losing it texture or structure
How do you define a size of an order?
PERSONAL & SMALL ORDER
*A Personal or Small order can be placed and picked up within the same week. You may also schedule a pickup date further out in advance. Assorted baked goods of this size average $50.00 or less.
*A Medium order can be placed and picked up within the same week if necessary. Medium orders will need more attention to details. We ask that you try to allow One (1) week or More in advance when you place an order. Assorted baked goods of this size average $50.00-$75.00.
*A Large order needs more time and attention to detail. We ask that you allow two (2) weeks or more in advance Assorted baked goods of this size average $75.00-$100.00. Please see our Party/ Events section for orders over a balance of $100.00
ALLERGIES & SPECIAL DIETARY REQUIREMENTS
*Please discuss with us if you or any of your guests have food allergies or special dietary requirements. All Allergens are listed on our labels. We will make it a priority to make sure all food allergies are made a high factor throughout the baking process and table preparations.
It is important to remember we DO NOT specialize in gluten free,sugar free, keto, or vegan diets.
Every cake has a base cost determined by the number of servings. You can find my base pricing on our menu.
We can provide you with a estimated quote with the base price plus additional fees.
To place an order you will be required to pay a $50 non refundable deposit. The deposit will lock in your date, lock in the quote. and will go toward the total. All cake orders under $100 will need to be paid in full at the time the order was placed.
Cake Taste test
There is a Mandatory $32.00 fee for TWO 4” CAKE samples. This fee will cover the ingredients and must be paid at the time of scheduling your consultation. Please make a secure decision, this is a NON-Refundable fee for service
Edible paper ,Wafer (rice) paper and ink pictures
We operate using our personally owned machine. We use icing sheets and wafer paper(aka rice paper).We use ink FDA certified GRAS (Generally Recognized as Safe (GRAS)). This meaning as having been adequately shown to be safe under the conditions of its intended use, or unless the use of the substance is otherwise excepted from the definition of a food additive.
Pick up/ Delivery
We encourage the customer to plan accordingly to pick up at the set time and date agreed upon. We do understand that some orders are larger than others, if planned out correctly we can help with deliveries. Contact us to get further details and fees for non-local deliveries.
Parties or Events
We recommend at least two(2) months or more in advance to request a consultation for a party or event.
We offer Dessert, Cupcakes & Cookies tables and Cake& Tower packages. For Reservations, Consultations, Cancellation

I want a consult, what can I expect ?
Consultations are arranged as an e-consult either as zoom or phone. Customer’s may email their ideas and details for us to review to firstname.lastname@example.org. After reviewing, we will be better equipped to present ideas and/or alternatives that fit your theme and budget. Once a consult is requested, we will reply by email to supply the zoom meeting information or call the customer. We want to accomplish the goal of answering questions, talking about your plans and ideas and explaining the pros and cons. This is done with the hope all details are understood and finalized. Following your consultation, your quote is valid for one (1) month, should you decide to think about it before moving forward and paying the deposit. Once the customer is ready to start services we will schedule a sit-down meeting (if allowed) and discuss the budget, payment, set up a taste test appointment and any further questions then end with a signed contract. Paying your deposit will secure the date.
Can I place an order after hours and during the weekend to be picked up the upcoming week ?
YES, Orders submitted after hours and during weekends will need to be via Email. An order will stand as pending until the next business day to confirm and process payment. We will still make it a priority to contact you within 24hrs from the time the order is submitted.
Can I place a order for the Holiday's? Which Holidays are you open/closed?
Yes, Holiday orders are accepted but will need to be paid in full and placed at the most 30 days in advance and the least two (2) weeks in advance. All orders will need to be pickup the day before if the next day is a holiday we are closed.
We are closed year-round on New Year's Eve + Day, Easter, Memorial Day, 4th of July, Labor Day, Thanksgiving Day and Day after, Christmas Eve + Day. Be advise- days are subject to change annually. Always verify by viewing the site to see if we are closed entirely or partially.
It's important to remember all Cancellations/ Reschedules for all size orders must be entered within a timely manner. A date will be given to you at the time of submitting a actual order. Please refer to our section in the footer "Detailed F.A.Q".

Credit and Debit cards can be used for payment. You are given the option to use a credit/ debit card at checkout for online payments as well as offline manually input or swipe in person. Customers who want to pay using Venmo must notify first to inform method of payment . If the customer wishes to order online select the Manual Payment during the check out process. The payment will be added as a offline /manual transaction.
